Qualifications & Skills: Requires a high school diploma or GED, vocational training, and graduation from radiologic technology school. An associate's degree in radiologic technology is preferred. Must have ARRT certification with Florida Radiographer License or ARMRIT MRI certification within 12 months of hire, along with BLS certification. Skills include computer software proficiency, troubleshooting, and providing physical or psychological support to patients.
Experience: One to two years in computerized imaging or completion of a post-secondary MRI certification program; less than one year of cardiac imaging experience is preferred.
