Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support in a busy emergency department.
Key Duties
- Manage approximately 45 patients per day
- Cover shifts from 6a–6p and 6p–6a as the sole physician
- Coordinate with NP/PA coverage for 9 hours daily
- Utilize Meditech EMR system
- Consult with multiple specialties as needed
- ABFM or ABIM certification with ER experience or EM fellowship
- Valid Texas medical license (IMLC not accepted)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
- At least 2 years of ED experience or EM fellowship
