What are the responsibilities and job description for the DRIVER Community Transportation Driver - Delaware, OH position at ALPHA GROUP OF DELAWARE INC?
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a vehicle to transport adults to and from the worksite and their home. Adheres strictly to state and local traffic ordinances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Fueling, cleaning and inspections of the vehicle are included in the 15minute pre-trip time allotted.
- Reports all traffic citations (work related and non-work related) to the Transportation Coordinator within 2 days.
- Complete accident/incident reports when problems occur with riders.
- Responsible for completing all required service documentation and paperwork.
- Ensure the health and safety of all members.
- Attend all meetings as scheduled and complete all training requirements.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS AND OTHER:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
- Must pass a BCI background check.
- Must remain in compliance with all regulatory standards governing program services, including appropriate trainings.
- Must not be a registered offender on the ODDD Abuse and Neglect Register or the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Abuser Register.
- Must have your own auto insurance.
- Must remain in compliance with all regulatory standards governing program services, including appropriate trainings.
- Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR training certification.
- Must be able to communicate in a positive manner utilizing both written and oral methods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule if needed.
