Responsibilities
- Provide expert barbering services including haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard trims, and hair styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to shop protocols, ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, offering personalized recommendations on hair care products and retail items to boost sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, processing payments, and handling inquiries professionally.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair threading, color theory, retail math, and upselling techniques to foster a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling, coloring, and haircutting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting.
- Demonstrated skills in retail sales, upselling products, and managing retail inventory effectively.
