A growing finance company serving the construction equipment industry is expanding its insurance operations and is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join its team.
This position is ideal for an insurance professional with a strong Commercial Lines background who enjoys working directly with customers, carriers, and internal business partners. The role will support the development of a growing insurance platform focused on equipment finance and dealer-related insurance programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial insurance accounts, including quoting, policy administration, renewals, endorsements, and certificates
- Respond to customer and dealer inquiries regarding commercial insurance coverage
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, underwriters, and internal departments
- Support multi-state licensing, NIPR activities, and regulatory compliance
- Assist in developing operational procedures and workflows for the expanding insurance business
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Support various operational projects as the insurance platform continues to grow
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Property & Casualty License (Life & Health is a plus)
- 3 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Experience with commercial account management, policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and quoting
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Construction, Contractors, Transportation, Fleet, Equipment, or Inland Marine insurance
- Experience working for a commercial insurance brokerage
- Experience interacting with insurance carriers and underwriters
- Knowledge of multi-state licensing and NIPR
- Familiarity with equipment finance, leasing, dealer programs, or commercial lending
- Interest in joining and helping build a growing insurance operation
