As a Studio Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of operations, leading the team, driving revenue, and ensuring every member has an exceptional experience.
The Studio Manager (SM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations, sales, team management, and recruiting top-tier coaches. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and sales acumen to drive membership growth, maintain operational excellence, and cultivate a strong community. The SM will work closely with the operations and coaching teams to ensure a seamless experience for both members and staff.
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive membership sales, renewals, and retail revenue
- Develop and execute strategies to hit monthly and quarterly revenue goals
- Build relationships with prospective members to increase conversions
- Organize and manage local tabling events, community activations, and grassroots marketing efforts to generate qualified leads
- Identify and nurture strategic partnerships with local businesses
Operations & Studio Management
- Ensure smooth daily operations and a clean, organized facility
- Manage front desk operations, scheduling, and inventory
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including attendance, retention, and revenue
- Oversee facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and vendor relationships
- Manage studio social media accounts, create and schedule content to promote classes, events, and community engagement
- Design marketing and in-studio materials using Canva
Team Leadership & Recruiting
- Hire, train, and manage front desk operations staff
- Recruit, interview, and onboard high-quality coaches
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure high performance and engagement
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with Alpha Fit Club’s values
- Collaborate with Lead Coach and Coaching staff to ensure alignment between training and operations
Member Experience & Retention
- Ensure an exceptional experience for all members and guests
- Handle member feedback, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally
- Implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention
- Lead by example, maintaining high energy and enthusiasm in the studio
Qualifications & Skills- Proven leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong sales background with a track record of hitting revenue targets
- Comfortable using CRM platforms to manage leads, track member interactions, and support sales and retention efforts
- Experience in recruiting and developing fitness professionals
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with gym management software and basic financial reporting
- Passion for fitness and building strong communities
- Experience managing social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement
- Ability to execute local marketing initiatives and build partnerships with nearby businesses and community organizations
- Basic graphic design and marketing skills (e.g., Canva) to support promotional campaigns, events, and studio communications
