Food Safety / Quality Assurance Manager
Location: South Carolina | Near Charlotte, NC
We are partnering with a growing food ingredient manufacturer to identify a hands-on Food Safety / Quality Assurance Manager to lead plant-level food safety and quality programs.
This role is well-suited for an early to mid-level QA or Food Safety professional who thrives on the production floor and wants to take ownership of day-to-day food safety systems in a food manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do
- Own food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and allergen control
- Lead and support SQF and customer audits
- Ensure compliance with FDA and FSMA requirements
- Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Partner closely with Operations and cross-functional teams
What we’re looking for
- Food manufacturing experience is required
- Background in food safety and quality systems at the plant level
- Experience with GFSI standards such as SQF
- Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style

- This role is based in South Carolina and is an easy commute from the Charlotte, NC metro area.
