Project Executive – Food & Beverage Construction
Location: Dallas, TX or Lexington, KY (relocation allowance provided)
A leading design-build firm is seeking a Project Executive to lead large-scale, complex projects in the Food & Beverage market. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of strategy, execution, financial performance, and client relationships on projects exceeding $200M .
What You’ll Do:
* Lead one major project or multiple high-complexity builds from preconstruction through closeout
* Own P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Develop and drive project execution strategy across design, procurement, and construction
* Oversee master scheduling, identify risks early, and implement corrective actions
* Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships beyond the PM level
* Ensure contract compliance, change management, and documentation accuracy
* Partner with A/E, MEP, and Field Operations teams to ensure alignment and performance
* Monitor procurement of equipment, subcontractors, and materials to optimize cost and schedule
* Lead risk management planning and mitigation across all phases of the project
* Mentor and develop Project Managers, building strong, accountable teams
What We’re Looking For:
* 10 years of construction leadership experience in design-build or industrial markets
* Proven track record managing large, complex projects ($100M–$200M ) with full P&L accountability
* Strong experience in Food & Beverage, manufacturing, or process-driven environments
* Deep understanding of multiple contract types (GMP, lump sum, cost-plus, CM)
* Experience leading proposals, estimating, and execution planning
* Ability to navigate technical engineering and design discussions with clients and partners
* Demonstrated success improving project margins and delivering on aggressive schedules
* Experience managing projects with significant process equipment procurement/installation
