Position Summary:
AEPi is seeking a passionate and driven Jewish and Israel Programming Associate to help brothers of Alpha Epsilon Pi cultivate skills to lead a proud Jewish life and to increase their connection with Israel. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of Jewish values and education, Israel engagement, and student-led impact.
As the Associate, you’ll lead and support AEPi students’ Jewish and Israel programming, national initiatives and assist students in combating antisemitism on campus. You’ll create engaging educational content, facilitate leadership development, and collaborate with students and partners to implement high-impact programs across 150 campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Jewish and Israel Engagement
- Develop and communicate high-quality Jewish and Israel engagement content that connects to young adults and meets them at their level of learning and interest.
- Work with chapter leaders to ensure a high level of leadership and education for those engaged in Israel or Jewish programming roles.
- Local Programming
- Assist in the collection of data relating to Israel and Jewish programming.
- Work with other AEPi staff to tell the stories of Jewish and Israel programming on campus.
- Regularly interact with chapters to help with their programming needs.
- Chapter Grants
- Oversee Alpha Epsilon Pi’s grant management system to award chapters with microgrants for eligible programs.
- Share weekly reports of said programs with the rest of the Alpha Epsilon Pi team to communicate stories of fantastic and impactful programs.
- Combatting Antisemitism
- Create high-level education programs and materials on combating antisemitism on campus.
- Track instances of antisemitism with meticulous details to support students.
- Work both proactively and reactively to support students in combating antisemitism on campus.
- Put together meaningful Webinar content to educate on antisemitism for parents, students and alumni.
- National Initiatives: Shabbat Across AEPi and We Walk to Remember
- Work to create meaningful educational materials and programs for AEPi’s Fall Shabbat Across AEPi (AEPi’s Fall Shabbat initiatives) and We Walk to Remember (AEPi’s Spring Holocaust education initiative)
- Safety and Security
- Oversee the rollout of safety and security programming on campus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Education, Jewish Studies, Organizational Leadership).
- Ability to work on multiple assignments, independently or as a member of a team
- Highly organized, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as well as work holidays and weekends when necessary
- Experience in creating educational content is a plus
