Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 and NEC standards
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system installations
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely and efficiently on construction sites or during renovation projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues within electrical circuits and systems
• Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot complex problems in industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions
• Follow all electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project milestones are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
• Experience working with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols related to high-voltage wiring and renovation projects
• Hand tool proficiency including wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, and other essential power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective repairs
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in industrial or commercial electrical work are a plus
