Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 and NEC standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system installations
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely and efficiently on construction sites or during renovation projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues within electrical circuits and systems
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot complex problems in industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions
- Follow all electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project milestones are met
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Experience working with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols related to high-voltage wiring and renovation projects
- Hand tool proficiency including wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, and other essential power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective repairs
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in industrial or commercial electrical work are a plus
