Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. We are an independent service provider that delivers packages for Fedex. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering packages to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Duties

• Operate a box truck or delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
• Load and unload packages, ensuring safe handling and adherence to weight limits
• Follow assigned delivery routes while maintaining a schedule
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as necessary
• Use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively
• Customer service experience is essential for successful interactions with clients
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding package handling processes
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks, is required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving packages
