General Description

This full-time position supervises the Chapter Support Coordinators. In addition, their work portfolio includes partnering with district volunteer teams to support assigned collegiate chapters; contributing meaningful perspectives to collegiate chapter operations to enhance the membership experience; partnering with volunteers and staff to implement and execute chapter development efforts; and collaborating with other Collegiate Services team members and all Executive Office staff members to ensure consistency across districts and a shared vision for the overall collegiate membership experience.

Duties Performed                                                                    

  • Supervise the district aligned Chapter Support Coordinators. Provide support to the Director of Collegiate Services as needed during the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process for the Chapter Support Coordinator role. 
  • Partners with District Team Directors to manage operations of assigned districts, including but not limited to monitoring individual chapter progress, support of district volunteers, and continued evaluation of best practices to promote chapter success. 
  • Work cooperatively with alumnae volunteers, International Officers, collegiate chapter officers and advisors, and Director of Collegiate Services to assist and support assigned chapters, ensuring assigned chapters are positively contributing to the overall goals of the sorority.
  • Partner with the District Team Directors to assess chapter support needs and assist the district teams with the preparation for and follow-up of chapter visits.
  • Coordinate Chapter Support Coordinator visit planning for aligned districts related to chapter support needs in partnership with District Team Director. 
  • Coordinate Annual Chapter Planning process alongside District Team Directors to monitor chapter performance and membership metrics and identify trends and achievements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of collegiate chapter operations to recommend process and procedure best practices to Assistant Director of Chapter Operations in partnership with Collegiate Services and District Team Directors as appropriate. 
  • Serve as Executive Office contact for university administrators within assigned district; escalate questions/inquiries as necessary to Director of Collegiate Services or district volunteers.
  • Coordinate with Member Learning and Development team to support logistics and execution for district team meetings, officer training conferences, and Grand Convention, as needed and determined by supervisor. 
  • Provide support to the District Team Directors and Assistant Director of Chapter Operations on chapter officer education through creation and facilitation of content for virtual and in-person training opportunities, as needed.
  • Support data collection and coordination for chapter programming and performance awards as needed.
  • Monitor statistics and membership data for assigned chapters, including but not limited to: scholarship, university and National Panhellenic Conference member group statistics, and chapter visit history. Provide statistical analysis as requested.
  • Remain current on campus and NPC collegiate trends, hot topics, and best practices to share information with Collegiate Services team and district volunteers.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Collegiate Services or Senior Director of Membership Engagement.

Suggested Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree: membership in Alpha Delta Pi preferred.
  • 3 years of professional experience or equivalent, preferably in the areas of higher education, business development, project management, volunteer management or equivalent role/s.
  • Knowledge of Alpha Delta Pi. Preferred Alpha Delta Pi collegiate officer and/or alumnae volunteer experience.
  • Knowledge of Greek Affairs and the campus perspective.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment or volunteer-based organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and decision-making ability.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to independently solve problems.
  • Customer service oriented and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Required Travel

  • Convention or Summer meeting (late June)
  • Collegiate Officer Leadership Events (January/February)
  • Conference travel as determined by supervisors (throughout the year)
  • District Team Meetings as needed (typically in conjunction with meetings listed above)
  • Campus visits as chapter needs arise or deemed appropriate by Director of Collegiate Services.

Employment Location

This position is based at Alpha Delta Pi’s Executive Office in Atlanta, GA to perform tasks that are generally required to be performed in-person. Atlanta based staff participate in a hybrid work schedule that may be granted after the first 90-days of employment. Alpha Delta Pi reserves the right to change work status with notice to employee.
