Contract Driver Work Description
Alpha Courier & Transit a national on-demand, same-day delivery provider. Has earning opportunities for local gig deliveries. We seek delivery drivers with a strong focus on superior customer service and reliability. Our network is powered by independently contracted drivers who are self-starting, persistent, and take pride in every mile and every delivery.
As an Independent Contracted Gig Delivery Driver, you will use your own vehicle: Crossover, SUV/Minivan, Pick-up Truck, Pick-up Truck with trailer, Sprinter/Cargo Van, or Box Truck to complete local deliveries for national retail orders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor app & text to claim earning opportunities -
- Use an app to document each step of the delivery process -
- Provide Proof of Pick-up (POP) images -
- Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) images -
- Deliver to correct addresses -
- Hand load & unload delivery items -
Experience
- Familiarity with same day on demand delivery and Gig work
- Ability to communicate effectively by text and phone
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $200.00 per day

Application Question(s):
- Timeliness and communication is critical in our business. Can you commit to consistently communicating ETA’s with Driver Support to meet pick-up and drop-off deadlines once you’ve accepted an order?
- Driver availability and communication is key to successful on time deliveries. If you commit to a delivery or route… then your availability changes how would you communicate that to Driver Support ?
- Orders require drivers to hand load and unload large, awkward heavy dirty, messy items (ex. Mulch, pavers, plywood, drywall, 12ft lumber etc.) are you physically capable?
- Neatly placing items at the customer’s property is part of how a delivery driver earns top reviews. Do you take pride in making sure deliveries are left in good condition and items do not block access to walkways, garage access and doorways?
- Are you prepared to “Head Directly” to pick-up once you have committed/accepted an order ?
- **REQUIRED** to have the following vehicles: Crossover, SUV/Minivan, Pick-up Truck, Pick-up Truck with a Trailer, Sprinter/Cargo Van or Box Truck.. PLEASE share your vehicle’s make, model and year?
