Alpha Circuit is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer specializing in Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). This is a full-time, on-site position located in Schaumburg, IL. The Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, implement quality management systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role involves driving quality improvements, performing product audits, root cause analyses, and collaborating with production teams to maintain high-quality manufacturing standards.
- Proficiency in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience in Quality Control practices, including inspections, process monitoring, and defect analysis.
- Knowledge of Product Quality management to ensure alignment with technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and experience in maintaining operational compliance with regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to address quality issues effectively.
- Ability to analyze technical drawings and specifications for PCB manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- A degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred, with relevant work experience in the PCB industry being an advantage.
