What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Alpha Care One Assisted Living?
Overview:
Able to provide effective cleaning to the Assisted Living Community to maintain an appropriate living environment for the residents.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of entire community daily such as but not limited to common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, etc.
- Check water temperatures as scheduled by the facility and ensure temperatures are within the appropriate range based on DHHS guidelines.
- Empty and clean all trash cans regularly as needed.
- Maintain a pleasant smelling environment.
- Lock all cleaning supplies when not in use.
- Take inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Maintain a safe environment for each resident.
- Must work as a team with all other staff to ensure residents are in a clean environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of each resident information.
- Must abide by the facility accidents, fire safety, OSHA and emergency standards.
- Must abide by the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights.
- Must attend/participate in trainings provided by the facility.
- Maintain a deep cleaning schedule weekly.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
- Must be able to work scheduled hours of 6am-2pm.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must pass a Background Check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
