Overall Purpose of Position: This position is to support the product definition and system/applications engineering works. This position will focus on product definition to ensure successful product development. The AE also provides customer supports Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties: Responsible for defining power management products Perform bench validations/characterizations Build simulation model or hardware for proof of concepts Provide applications engineer supports Qualifications: Strong background in power electronics Experience with power electronics topologies Experience in designing isolated dc-dc converters and gate driver circuits Experience with analysis and simulation tool Good verbal and written communication skills Master or Ph.D in Electrical engineering or related area Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, Inc is committed to diversity in our workplace.
