About This Opportunity
This is an extremely important position here at Alpha because everyone in the company can benefit from a rockstar Admin! As an Administrative Assistant your primary role is to handle the administrative tasks that are required by the company. This includes things like scanning, mailing, answering phones, stocking supplies, supporting the processors, basic bookkeeping/banking, office tidiness, and closings!
It should be noted that this is an IN-PERSON position. Working remotely is not an option for this role as your physical presence is required to do most of the tasks and responsibilities.

Job Details
Title: Administrative Assistant
Compensation: $40,000 base salary notary fee bonuses
Reports To: Director of Operations

What does an Administrative Assistant do, anyway?
On a daily basis you will be responsible for many different parts of the company. Some things you will own, others you will help with. Working in a small company you will get the opportunity to wear many different hats.
Some basic responsibilities day to day will include:
· Answering and directing incoming phone calls
· Scanning and Mailing documents
· Stocking Office Supplies
· Check management including deposits through a check scanner as well as cutting checks for closings and vendors for accounts payable.
· Preparing and preparing closing documents
· Basic Bookkeeping/Banking
· Office tidiness including emptying the trash, and occasional light cleaning (we have an office cleaner)
· Supporting the processors and other staff
· General vendor relations for things like email signatures, wifi, printer, etc.
· Organizing company events and holiday party
· Handling in-office closings (PA notary license will be required within 60 days of your start date)
If this sounds like you, your previous education, work experience, and passions probably sound like this:
· High School degree or higher
· Licensed notary in the state of PA
· A demonstrated ability to work and achieve goals in a team structure.

Lastly, here’s what success looks like in this position:
· 2-week training period to learn new company software’s and core processes
· Always remain coachable so that you can learn and grow from mistakes. We celebrate our mistakes, which is why to succeed, you need to be able to take accountability for when a mistake is made so that we can address it and learn from it.
· The ability to work well with others. If you are sick or on vacation, someone in the company will pick up your work for that time and the same is expected of you (if possible). There is no I, we are all 1, and we all work toward the same common goal.
· Once training period is over, little to no help from direct report to handle the bulk of tasks
