Seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment. Your energetic approach will ensure our spaces remain safe, functional, and welcoming. Seeking someone with diverse skills. Knowledge of construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, boat maintenance a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties to keep facilities in top condition
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, diagnosing issues efficiently and executing effective solutions
- Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential hazards or areas needing repair before problems escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors when specialized repairs or installations are required
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others
Qualifications
- Handyman or a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set across multiple trades
- Additional knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and basic appliance repair is useful
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement practical solutions effectively
- Communication skills to understand needs clearly and coordinate with team members or vendors
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license for transportation of tools or equipment as needed
