About the Role
As a Field Operations Service Technician, you will be the face of Alpen, delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship directly to our customers. This role requires travel within the continental U.S. and offers the opportunity to work independently while being part of a highly supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to assess, repair, and service Alpen windows and doors
- Evaluate job sites and determine solutions for issues related to installation or manufacturing
- Perform service and repairs while adhering to AAMA standards
- Complete and submit detailed Field Service Reports via tablet or laptop
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and leadership
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in construction, e.g., remodeling, framing, finish carpentry, exterior work, or window/door installation
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong Problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Strong internal team communication and collaboration skills and abilities
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital service reporting tools
- General understanding of window/door installation from start to finish, including trim work
- Proficiency with basic window and door hardware systems, e.g., Casement/Awning operation and adjustments, Hung and Sliding window operation and adjustments, European inswing window operation and adjustments, Sliding Glass Door operation and adjustments
- Valid, travel-ready U.S. Driver’s License
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
- A positive, team-oriented attitude is a must
