We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Logistics team based out of our Reading, PA facility. The ideal candidate for the Logistics Coordinator will be results driven, motivated by challenges and have excellent communication, organization, administration and interpersonal skills. The primary function of this role is to perform multiple duties supporting Alpek Polyester’s Logistics team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Coordinator will be reportable to the Logistics Manager and have responsibilities for the following tasks:
- Timely and accurate review and entry of Invoice data into SAP for logistics related invoices (rail, truck, warehousing, etc.)
- Monitor aging accounts with key logistics vendors to ensure that invoices are paid within appropriate payment terms
- Manage dispute of invoices for inaccurate invoices received
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Issuing Purchase requisitions for Logistics related cost
- Maintain annual Purchase Orders for recuring Logistics Services
- Optimization of the cost entry process
- Other logistics administrative activities
- High level of interaction with Accounts Payable, External Suppliers and other internal functions.
