We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Authorization Representative to join our remote team. This role is key to ensuring timely approvals for behavioral health services by managing prior authorizations, reauthorizations, and insurance verification.

What You'll Do
Manage Insurance Authorizations:
- Submit and track prior authorization requests for behavioral health services.
- Monitor authorization expirations and ensure timely renewals.
- Work directly with insurance companies to resolve issues, prevent service interruptions, and appeal denials.
Ensure Accuracy & Compliance:
- Verify patient insurance benefits and coverage.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations.
Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals for authorization submissions, approvals, and follow-ups.
- Efficiently process a designated number of authorization requests per day.
- Reduce turnaround times for approvals and reauthorizations.
Collaborate & Communicate:
- Work closely with clinical teams to gather necessary documentation for approvals.
- Provide updates on authorization statuses to internal teams and clients.
- Educate staff on insurance authorization requirements and processes.
