Responsibilities:

You will work directly with our aging clients - ensuring that their basic, non-medical needs are met. While every client and everyday may be different, some examples include:
Provides adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; and applying restraints.

Encourage activity and movement
Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies

Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home
Being a companion (having meaningful conversation)

Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes
Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families

Understands legal implications of patient care
Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.

Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
Protects organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.

Serves and protects the
hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements; and jcaho standards.

Requirements:

Certification with accredited training course through the State of California and current certification through American Heart Association in Basic Life
nursing assistant experience
Appropriate license

Applicants must have an unexpired TB Test, Covid-19 Vaccination Card and HCA Registration copy (We can help you register if you still haven't registered).
