Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
- Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store remains organized and inviting
- Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about new or featured items
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through online inquiries
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations with strong basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Previous retail sales experience, including cashiering and retail math knowledge
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
