Dock Associate

Shift: Mon-Fri 12:00 PM - 04:30 PM

Objective:
Responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, maintaining organization, and ensuring accurate, on-time freight handling to support efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide courteous, friendly service to team members and customers, responding promptly to inquiries.
2. Navigate warehouse layout efficiently to access products and inventory.
3. Safely operate material handling equipment and RF scanners for package tracking and accurate delivery.
4. Sort packages accurately based on customer and route information.
5. Follow safety and security protocols to protect cross-dock operations and contents.
6. Keep dock areas clean and free of debris to prevent accidents.
7. Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
8. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and optimize freight operations.
9. Protect company assets, confidential information, and adhere to policies, with accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
