What are the responsibilities and job description for the FTE - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Kansas City, KS position at ALOIS LLC?
- Sign-On Bonus: $4,000 (paid in four $1,000 increments at 90, 180, 270, and 360 days)
- Schedule: Rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts on a continuous 24/7 schedule
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install industrial machinery and equipment.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, machinery controls, rigging, and production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Maintain and repair building infrastructure and mechanical systems.
- Use CMMS systems for work orders, spare parts, and maintenance tracking.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with safety standards.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Strong industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (air lines, solenoids, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
- Preventative maintenance and machinery repair experience.
- Experience installing, modifying, calibrating, and maintaining industrial equipment.
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
- Ability to pass a written skills test, drug screening, and background check.
- Strong independent work ethic with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and PPE compliance.
- Experience using CMMS/work order systems.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Experience with rigging, machinery installation, and equipment overhauls.
- Knowledge of industrial building maintenance and infrastructure systems.
- Experience training or mentoring maintenance personnel.
- Familiarity with production/manufacturing environments.
