Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CT Technologist located in Geneva, NY. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining radiologic equipment. Daily tasks include preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to interpret images. The role also involves adhering to radiation safety protocols and maintaining accurate patient records.
SCHEDULE
• Practice hours Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Full-time Sr. Physicist on-site 3 days/week with 2 days remote (40 hours)
• Part-time physicist working on-site the 2 days/week on days the full-time physicist is remote, plus an additional half-day remote if needed (equal up to 20 hours)
• Coverage for others' sick and vacation time
• Master of Science degree in physics, biophysics, medical physics, radiological physics, nuclear engineering or health physics - [REQUIRED]
• Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics - [REQUIRED]
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience - [REQUIRED]
• Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) certification through the state of Ohio - [REQUIRED]
