We are seeking a cook to be responsible for preparing high‑quality fried food items, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring the hot food display remains fully stocked with fresh, appealing products. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive customer experience by consistently providing safe, delicious, and well‑presented food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried food items according to established recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines.
- Keep the hot food display full, ensuring items are fresh, properly rotated, and visually appealing throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen, including equipment, prep areas, utensils, and storage spaces.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as restocking ingredients, monitoring supply levels, and communicating needs to management.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, warmers, and food prep tools, following all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Follow all food safety regulations, including proper temperature control, labeling, and hygiene practices.
- Work collaboratively with store staff to support smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred, but not required.
- Serve Safe Certificate preferred, will negotiate a higher pay if one can be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
