Aloha Fun Center is a growing family entertainment center in the bay area. We strive to bring fun and enjoyment to people of all ages. We love our community and continue to grow it. We are seeking new employees for our location in Emeryville, CA.
Overview:
We are hiring Associates and other Team Members to join our growing team, and want to connect with outgoing individuals today! We have a commitment to hospitality, in a safe, fun, and clean facility. We want every guest experience to be a happy memory.
To achieve this commitment, we focus on exceptional cross-training and development. Which is why the majority of our leadership are former Associates.
We have opportunities for advancement, and a wide variety of positions available, to support operations in our multi-attraction facility.
Associate and Team Member principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to following:
- Opening or Closing Duties
- Cleaning various locations within the facility.
- Restocking
- Monitoring activities of guests for safe behavior.
- Reporting on conditions of the facility.
- Participation in monthly team meetings.
- Providing professional hospitality to guests.
Depending on position, duties include:
- Cashier
- Skate rental
- Skate Guard
- Emcee
- DJ
- Concessions
- General cleaning
- Party hosting
Salary:
$16.25 - $19.00/hr DOE/Position Daily tips

Requirements:
- Three shifts a week minimum, plus weekends.
- Weekends are Friday - Sunday, with a commitment of two weekend days p/wk.
- Ability to work in a busy, loud, and active environment.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with all employees, and work as a team by helping others as needed or as directed.
- Ability to speak clearly, and listen attentively with guests and other employees.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times, and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
- Must maintain good hygiene with a clean and polished appearance and uniform.
- Able to exhibit a positive and helpful attitude, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Must work with a sense of urgency, no matter the level of business.
- Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of facility activities, operations, promotions, events, and/or menu items.
- Able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the facility, kitchen, or light administrative duties as assigned.
- Punctual, strict attendance policy
- Abide by policies and operating procedures.
- Can follow safety procedures.
- For Skateguard skate proficiency is required.
- For Shift Leads, experience is preferred in management positions.
- Able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
