What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Aloha Roadway Services?
Schedule:
- Must be available for 4, 10-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch traffic specialists to job sites based on daily assignments
- Communicate route changes, delays, or urgent updates to field crews in real time
- Track job status and ensure timely completion of assignments
- Track equipment rentals
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs and records
- Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and resolve issues as they arise
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior dispatch, logistics, or scheduling experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with routing/dispatch software a plus
