Junk Removal Technician/Driver

You'll start working alongside an experienced Truck Team Leader as a Navigator, learning customer interactions, pricing, and efficient operations from the ground up. This is hands-on, physically active work, hours can be long, and the job is genuinely demanding. But your effort directly impacts your pay, your growth, and how quickly you advance. This isn't a role where you clock in and coast, it's one where showing up and working hard actually moves your paycheck.

What You'll Do

• Work as part of a two-person crew removing furniture, appliances, construction debris, and bulk items from homes, businesses, and job sites
• Load and transport items using trucks, lift gates, and dollies
• Handle bulky item pickups, unit clean-outs, estate and foreclosure cleanouts
• Manage illegal dumping cleanup and dumpster overflow situations, with photo documentation
• Take same-day and emergency response jobs when scheduled
• Conduct on-site assessments and assist with estimates and pricing as trained
• Sort materials for recycling, donation, and proper disposal
• Build customer relationships and help earn Google reviews
• Support marketing efforts: yard signs, door hangers, before-and-after photos

Requirements

• Valid Hawaii driver's license with a clean driving record
• 21 years or older
• Ability to safely lift and carry 75 lbs repeatedly, as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and occasionally challenging environments (hoarding situations and similar)
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone for job tracking and photos
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam

Preferred

• Experience in junk removal, moving, landscaping, construction, or other labor-intensive work
• Sales or customer service background
• Knowledge of Oahu geography

This position requires significant physical activity, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials of various weights and sizes. Successful candidates will demonstrate physical fitness, endurance, and the ability to work safely as part of a team.
