The Youth Care Workers play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to adolescent girls in a 24/7 residential setting, promoting their emotional, social, and physical well-being. PAY: $20.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct supervision and support to youth in the residential program, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to program rules and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain positive and supportive relationships with the girls, serving as a role model and mentor to help them develop essential life skills and positive coping mechanisms.
- Assist in the planning, transportation and implementation of recreational activities for the youth.
- Support the youth in developing and maintaining daily living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores, as well as providing guidance on conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Serve as a positive and consistent presence in the lives of the youth, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication in all interactions.
- Monitor and document the youths' progress, behaviors, and incidents, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with program and regulatory requirements.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
- CPR/FA Certification
- Current driver's license, clean driving abstract and current car insurance.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
H.S. Degree or GED
One year of experience working with youth.
