AG is seeking a motivated Marketing Director to assist the marketing team with implementing campaigns, organizing events, and managing public relations. The Director of Marketing is outgoing, detail-oriented, and an exceptional communicator. The role demonstrates excellence in content writing and effectively conducts data collection and analysis for market research. The Marketing Director embraces Aloha Green vision, mission, goals, objectives, and core values.
What you will do:
The Marketing Director reports directly to the Aloha Green President, Director of Retail Operations, and Brand Director. The role provides support to the marketing team and executives by contributing to promotional campaigns, community events, and projects. The Director of Marketing seeks to better understand the organization’s target audience and diverse clientele’s marketing needs. The role skillfully utilizes various data collection systems and analyzes metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing approach, create solutions that will help improve campaign success, and devise new marketing strategies that brings awareness to Aloha Green Apothecary and Hemptuary Hawaii’s business activities and products. The Marketing Director performs other related duties as required and assigned.
What you will be responsible for:
- Lead all marketing, campaigns, communications, and social media strategy for Aloha Green Apothecary.
- Plan and execute weekly/monthly promotions, product launches, and events using Alpine IQ.
- Manage email, SMS, and loyalty campaigns to increase customer engagement and retail sales.
- Create compelling content — social media posts, blogs, press releases, and short-form videos — in the brand’s voice.
- Oversee social media presence and influencer collaborations; comfortable appearing on camera.
- Coordinate digital updates across website, menus, and listings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support community and in-store events, from planning to day-of promotion and live coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for creative alignment and retail communication.
- Track campaign analytics, sales performance, and engagement metrics; report insights regularly.

Requirements:
The Marketing Director must work on-site 3–4 days per week and attend events or visit dispensaries as needed. Requires hands-on social media experience, including Reels and short-form video creation, and comfort appearing on camera. Strong writing, communication, and campaign management skills are essential, along with basic photo/video editing and digital design proficiency (Canva or Adobe Suite). Candidates should be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
