Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of managers and department heads, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Evaluate and mitigate operational risks, implementing appropriate controls and measures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Optimize business processes, workflows, and systems to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. Collaborate with the CEO and other executives in setting company-wide goals and strategies. Communicate with overseas operations teams to ensure compliance with local laws and customs. Willingness to learn all aspects of exporting such as regulations, compliance, documentation, international trade practices, shipping logistics, and inventory management. Requirements: Strong familiarity with the culture and economy of the Marshall Islands, our current primary market. Additionally, a willingness to expand knowledge and understanding of other South Pacific countries as we explore potential business opportunities beyond the Marshall Islands. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. Proficiency in Taiwanese and Marshallese is not required but highly desired. Being bilingual in these languages will be an asset in facilitating effective communication and fostering relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in our multicultural environment. Desirable market insights and relevant experience in the exporting and trading industry, or industries closely associated with exporting and trading companies.
