Tour Guide Positions Available – Hilo & Kona | Starting at $35/hr We are currently looking for professional, reliable, and service-minded tour guides to join our Hawai‘i Island tour team. Our company operates and partners with tours in both Hilo and Kona, including: Cruise ship tours in Hilo Volcano tours Daytime Mauna Kea tours Evening/Night Mauna Kea summit, sunset, and stargazing tours Kona-based volcano and Mauna Kea tour operations Starting pay: $35 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance. We are looking for candidates who are serious about customer service, safety, and professionalism. Previous tour guide, hospitality, transportation, or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred, but we are also willing to train the right person. Basic Requirements: Strong customer service mindset Professional attitude and good communication skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Able to follow company procedures and safety standards Comfortable working with guests from different backgrounds Willing to learn about Hawai‘i Island, volcanoes, Mauna Kea, astronomy, Hawaiian culture, and local history Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and cruise ship schedules Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with office staff, dispatch, and other guides Clean driving record preferred Prior guiding or commercial driving experience is a plus Please note: This position requires responsibility, patience, and strong attention to safety. Guides must be able to follow instructions, maintain a professional attitude under pressure, and communicate respectfully with guests and team members. Applicants who are not reliable with time, safety procedures, or guest service standards will not be a good fit for this position.
