We are seeking a dependable and motivated Plant Nursery Associate to join our team. This role involves hands-on work caring for plants, assisting customers, and supporting daily nursery operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and has strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant care including watering, pruning, transplanting, and fertilizing
- Loading, unloading, and moving plants and nursery materials
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of nursery grounds
- Assisting customers with plant selection and basic care guidance
- Supporting planting, propagation, and general nursery production
- Operating basic nursery tools and equipment safely
- Following all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Prior nursery, landscaping, farming, or horticulture experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn plant identification and care practices
Schedule
Full-time or part-time positions available. Weekday and/or weekend shifts depending on role and season.
