Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Execute specialized floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and sealing floors to maintain their appearance and durability
• Assist with custodial duties related to industrial cleaning projects or facilities maintenance as needed
• Support residential painting tasks or minor repairs to enhance the overall appearance of the property
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized for efficient operations
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial and residential cleaning techniques
• Knowledge of floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery including buffers and floor scrubbers effectively
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing supplies and tasks efficiently
• Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly
