What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Manager position at Aloft by Marriott Memphis Downtown?
Aloft by Marriott Memphis Downtown: Candidate must have extensive housekeeping experience at a hotel. We prefer to have candidates with at least 5 years of Housekeeping Supervision experience.
Job Description will include but not limited to:
- hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining up to 16 housekeeping staff
- inspecting all rooms cleaned by housekeeping staff on a daily basis
- must be on-call to handle any questions or scheduling issues
- bring any maintenance/repair issues to the attention of maintenance staff and make sure tasks are completed
- responsible to have meeting room setup completed per instructions provided for any upcoming events
