Job Summary
Aloft Bolingbrook is seeking a dependable and energetic Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas
- Deliver linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, lobby areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Remove trash and transport laundry as needed
- Respond promptly to guest and housekeeping requests
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Ensure housekeeping storage rooms remain clean and fully stocked
- Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
