Role Description The Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Louis, MO. This position supports the organization’s fundraising and development activities, including assisting with donor outreach, stewardship, and relationship management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting prospect research, helping prepare grant proposals and reports, coordinating fundraising events, and managing donor databases and records volunteer mangement and coordination. The Development Associate collaborates with the development team to draft communications, update fundraising materials, and track campaign progress and outcomes. The role also involves working with staff and community partners to ensure development efforts align with Almost Home’s mission and programs.

- Solid communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for donor correspondence and fundraising materials.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, track fundraising metrics, and support strategic decision-making.
- Fundraising experience or knowledge of development practices, including donor stewardship, grant support, and event coordination.
