*Job Summary*
Almost Family Home Care Plus is a family owned and operated. It is a private duty home care provider, with 23 years of experience. It is our goal to meet and exceed the needs of individuals who wish to remain in their homes with some form of assistance.
Our Caregivers deliver compassionate and customizable services to each and every client which includes companionship and personal care services, light housekeeping, and respite care.
Looking for part-time and full-time day shift caregivers, must be available Monday thru Sunday.
*Responsibilities*
-MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH
-Algonquin area
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if required
-Provide transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery store, etc. A car and driver license is a MUST!
*Experience*
- Previous experience in care giving, nursing, or related fields is REQUIRED!
- Certification in CPR is a plus
- Familiarity with memory care and patient care practices
