We are looking for a motivated Java Developer who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code and building reliable backend applications.
Job Description
As a Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs. You will collaborate with other developers and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend applications using Java.
* Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
* Work with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related Java frameworks.
* Design and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
* Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
* Troubleshoot bugs, investigate production issues, and improve application performance.
* Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members.
* Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
* Follow secure coding practices and software development best practices.
* Contribute to CI/CD workflows and cloud deployment processes where applicable.
Required Skills
* Good knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
* Understanding of collections, exception handling, and multithreading fundamentals.
* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
* Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
* Knowledge of Git and basic software testing practices.
* Understanding of HTTP, JSON, and API integration.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
* Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
* Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
* Knowledge of microservices architecture.
* Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks.
