We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a part-time position, offering a supportive environment for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood standards. - Instructional Planning:
Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of individual children and small groups. - Classroom Management:
Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development. - Parent Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and development. - Collaboration:
Work effectively with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for all children. - Observation and Assessment:
Observe children's individual development and progress, documenting their learning and any areas needing support. - Professional Development:
Stay up-to-date on current best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (3-4 years preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Valid first aid and CPR certifications preferred.
