Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including removing debris.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment needed for construction projects.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of forms, and other structures as needed.
- Support skilled workers in various tasks such as digging trenches, pouring concrete, or framing walls.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions as required by the job.
