Role Description The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Plymouth, MA. This role manages personal lines insurance accounts, including handling day-to-day policy service such as endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and coverage changes. The Account Manager communicates with clients by phone, email, and in person to review coverage needs, provide quotes, explain policy details, and resolve billing or claims-related questions. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, processing applications and policy documents, maintaining accurate records in agency management systems, and coordinating with insurance carriers to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance. The role also involves proactive account reviews, identifying coverage gaps, recommending appropriate products, and supporting agency growth through high-quality client service and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal lines insurance account management, including policy servicing, renewals, and endorsements.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and carriers.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
• Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
• Knowledge of personal auto, homeowners, umbrella, and other personal lines insurance products and coverage concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and independently to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Current Property & Casualty insurance license in Massachusetts.
• Prior experience in an insurance agency or related financial services environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant professional coursework is beneficial.
