RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and defend construction defect and complex liability matters
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Communicate directly with clients and claims professionals
• Develop litigation strategy in partnership with experienced attorneys
• Participate in business development and networking efforts
• Contribute to firm initiatives involving legal technology and innovation
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff as appropriate

COMPENSATION, PERFORMANCE & THE FUTURE OF PRACTICE
This position includes a competitive salary, objective bonus opportunities, and a clearly defined path for professional growth.
The firm currently maintains a 1600-hour/year billable-hour requirement and an objective bonus plan for hours exceeded beyond that minimum. Attorneys must meet a threshold of 1800 billed hours annually to participate in the bonus plan.
That said, we recognize that the future of legal services will not be defined solely by billable hours.
As part of our commitment to innovation, the firm is actively exploring and implementing alternative fee arrangements, technology-enabled efficiencies, workflow automation, artificial intelligence tools, and value-based pricing models designed to better align attorney incentives with client outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS
• Florida Bar member in good standing
• Minimum 3 years litigation experience preferred
• Construction defect, insurance defense, or commercial litigation experience preferred
