For our Commercial team in Leetsdale, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven New Business Development Lead US.
About Job:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and growth opportunities
- Analyze customer needs and industry developments to uncover business potential
- Support strategic planning and execution for business development goals
- Identify and prioritize target markets, customer segments, and partnerships
- Develop business cases with financial modeling and ROI analysis
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and industry events
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between the company and potential clients
- Present proposals and negotiate deals aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on strategy implementation
- Manage business development projects from concept to execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful project delivery
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet targets
- Collaborate on new product development and enhancements
- Support product launches that address market needs
- Track and report KPIs related to business development
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
- Promote Almatis brand in existing and new markets
- Apply entrepreneurial thinking to new leads and opportunities
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in ceramic sciences, engineering, or a related science field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience
- 5 years minimum in the refractory/ceramics industry
- Proven success in Sales, Marketing, or New Business Development at group level or within a division of a multinational organization is desired
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, lead generation, and networking
- Demonstrated business acumen and negotiation capabilities
- Preferred knowledge in commercial excellence and relevant software tools
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP forecasting and BI tools
Working Environment:
- 50% travel
- Office located in Leetsdale, PA
