Role Description: The Certified Massage Therapist is a full/part-time, on-site role based in San Jose and/or Morgan Hill, CA. This team member provides therapeutic massage services tailored to each patient’s needs, supporting chiropractic care plans and wellness goals. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient concerns, delivering a range of massage techniques, documenting sessions, and coordinating care with chiropractors and other staff. The role also involves educating patients on stress management and self-care practices, maintaining clean and safe treatment spaces, and offering attentive, respectful customer service to all practice members.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and provide a welcoming, patient-centered experience.
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, including body massage, with a focus on safety, comfort, and clinical effectiveness.
- Experience or training in ART or other specialized modalities that complement chiropractic and wellness care.
- Knowledge of stress management approaches and the ability to integrate them into patient education and massage sessions.
- Current massage therapy certification/license for the state of California and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with chiropractors and support staff, and to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Physical ability to perform repeated massage sessions and maintain proper body mechanics over the course of the workday.
- Prior experience in a chiropractic, wellness, or healthcare setting is preferred.
