What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Improvement – Team Lead position at Almac Group?
Almac Group is currently seeking a Process Improvement Team Lead for our Souderton, PA location. Employee will be a subject matter expert on key processes and systems improving these through the application of continuous improvement techniques. The principal function of this position in Clinical Services is to ensure that the equipment and processes operate efficiently, robustly, safely and in compliance with GxP regulations where appropriate. This position will work globally in the required process areas to ensure alignment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead improvement activities within Production, Label Printing, and Packaging Design of Clinical Services through Measurement, Analysis, Improvement and Control via Tactical Improvement Plans
- Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement within Clinical Services ensuring the engagement, involvement, and education of the entire department. Coach, mentor, and educate indirect reports to identify and implement solutions to improve key processes within Clinical Services Operations.
- Lead optimization and reliability studies of existing systems setup and planned maintenance activities. Suggest corrective and preventative actions and ensure that these are appropriately documented/approved in inline with procedures.
- Function as Risk Facilitator for department within Clinical Services working globally to review processes and ensure actions are completed.
- Contribute to the globalization of practices and procedures across the Almac Clinical Services facilities as required
Required Experience / Education:
- HS Diploma/ GED
- Minimum 5 years of Process Improvement in Engineering/Machine/Mechanical or related equipment/process experience
- Processing or mechanical equipment
