Position Overview
The Product Repair Technician is responsible for performing inspections, teardowns, overhauls, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on customer-returned equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role ensures efficient repair services that support company and departmental objectives while maintaining high standards of documentation, quality, and safety.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Ability to perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing of various repair station products and components.
- Ability to use a computer and read/understand manuals, blueprints, written work instructions, and procedures.
- Strong ability to recognize and resolve typical problems by evaluating options and selecting appropriate solutions.

Core Responsibilities
- Perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing of repair station equipment.
- Ensure all repair work is completed per the correct document revision and established procedures.
- Support development and implementation of product improvement initiatives.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair shop equipment as needed.
- Complete required training to maintain technical proficiency.
- Document all repairs, testing, and recertifications per regulatory, customer, and departmental standards.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work nights, weekends, or extended hours as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
Education
- High School Diploma or Secondary Certificate preferred.
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 2–5 years of relevant product repair, troubleshooting, or overhaul experience.
Skills
- Ability to read and follow manuals, blueprints, and all written work instructions.
- Proficient with hand tools and electronic test equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge in product repair and troubleshooting to component level.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to identify and solve typical problems using established options.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.60 - $31.00 per hour
