- 7am-7pm, Saturdays-Mondays, $15.00-$17.00/hour
- 7pm-7am, Thursdays-Saturdays, $17.00-$18.00/hour
- Weekend Doubles, 7am-11pm,$15.00-$17.00/hour
Pay based on years certified
Annual pay increase, based on performance

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policy and all federal, state and local regulations. This position is a safety sensitive position as defined by applicable state law.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
- Must meet all local health regulations.
- Must complete of additional education as offered by facility and be able to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
- Must maintain regular attendance and display good time management capabilities.
- Must be flexible and able to handle change easily and professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Communicate with residents, families and staff in a professional and tactful manner.
- Be a role model of professionalism and teamwork.
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:
Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, pushing and pulling, fine hand coordination, ability to hear and respond to pages, ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions; ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel, vendors and consultants; ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures; and ability to remain calm under stress
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assuring resident safety.
- Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing policies and procedures.
- Identify resident problems and concerns and report them immediately to a charge nurse or a licensed nurse.
- Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately.
- Conduct resident rounds as assigned. Report changes in residents' conditions to Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor.
- Initiate corrective action as necessary and/or seek assistance of a licensed nurse.
- Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action.
- Attend all in-service classes as assigned and complete assignments.
- Assume personal responsibility for following facility procedures related to control of equipment and supplies within the work area.
- Document incidents and/or unusual problems according to established facility procedures.
- Review care plans and perform nursing care as outlined.
- Document the care and treatment provided to the resident and the resident's response or lack of response to care provided.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
- Complete documentation accurately, timely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assure residents have call lights at hand and answer call lights promptly.
- Assure residents are given adequate assistance with personal and oral hygiene needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Assure residents are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment and transportation to meal service area.
- Work cooperatively with residents, charge nurses, treatment nurses, restorative nurses,other nursing assistants, physicians, families, and all other facility personnel.
- Observe all facility safety policies and procedures, infection control procedures, and other applicable nursing policies and procedures.
- These duties and responsibilities are not a comprehensive list, and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time. The scope of this position may change as necessitated by business demands.
